Vocabulary Builder

Build your own private dictionary. Save words you learn and master them over time.

What is the Vocabulary Builder?

The Vocabulary Builder is a client-side word curator designed to build and manage a personalized word bank. By inputting custom words, definitions, and example sentences, users can compile their own reference collections for study and review.

This builder stores all entries, translations, and example logs locally in your browser's LocalStorage cache. Since no database syncs, account registrations, or remote lookups are required, your custom learning cards remain private to your local device.

How to Use the Vocabulary Builder

  1. Enter the Target Word: Type the vocabulary term (e.g., exquisite) into the "Word" input field.
  2. Define the Meaning: Input the core definition or dictionary explanation into the "Meaning" textarea.
  3. Add an Example Sentence: Paste or type a contextual example sentence into the "Example Sentence" input to see how it is used.
  4. Save to Word Bank: Click the "Save to Word Bank" button. The new card will render instantly in the grid view.
  5. Review and Manage: Inspect your word cards in the grid. To remove a word, click the "Delete" icon on the card.
