3D Dice Roller

A professional-grade virtual dice simulator. Perfect for board games, tabletop RPGs, and quick decisions.

What is the 3D Dice Roller?

The 3D Dice Roller is a client-side dice simulation utility designed to roll virtual dice with realistic 3D rotation animations. By choosing the number of dice and triggering a roll, players can simulate standard 6-sided dice rolls with accurate random probability and instant summation.

This dice roller executes all physics calculations, random number generation, and history tracking locally in your browser memory. Your rolls and settings remain private to your local gaming session, ensuring no game data is uploaded or tracked.

How to Use the 3D Dice Roller

  1. Choose Dice Volume: Set the "Number of Dice" (from 1 to 6) in the settings input box. The table updates dynamically to display the new dice.
  2. Roll the Dice: Click the "ROLL THE DICE" button to trigger the rolling sequence.
  3. Review the Totals: Observe the 3D dice settle on their random numbers and inspect the summary totals.
  4. Track Your History: Check the "Roll History" sidebar to review previous rolls and totals. Click "Clear History" to clear the log.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The simulator uses a pseudo-random number generator to determine the final face of each die before triggering the roll, ensuring fair probability distribution.

No. Your roll history is kept in temporary memory for your current session and will be cleared when you close or refresh the tab.

You can roll up to 6 dice at a time, which covers most standard board game requirements.

This simulator features standard 6-sided (D6) dice. We are working on updates to support polyhedral dice (such as D20 or D10) for tabletop RPGs.
