What is Deep Work Focus Mode?
Deep Work Focus Mode is an offline productivity workspace designed to eliminate digital distractions and foster concentration. In a work environment filled with notifications and tabs, finding a calm space is crucial for cognitive performance. This application shifts your browser into a clean, fullscreen layout, allowing you to focus on a single task.
To help you focus, the tool generates real-time ambient noise directly in the browser. It tracks your completed sessions locally, helping you review your daily productivity metrics without sharing your schedule or work habits with external servers.
How to Use Focus Mode
Entering your distraction-free work block involves these steps:
- Select your target work duration (15, 25, 45, 60, or 90 minutes) from the session length dropdown.
- Choose an ambient soundscape (Silence, Steady Rain, Ocean Waves, or White Noise) from the audio controls.
- Click the "Enter Focus Mode" button to launch the overlay panel.
- Click "Toggle Fullscreen" to hide your desktop toolbars and browser menus.
- Focus on your task while the progress ring counts down the time.
- If you must stop early, click "Exit Focus Mode" to return to the dashboard. Otherwise, wait for the completion screen to log your session statistics.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this tool block external websites or desktop apps?
No. Browser applications cannot block other tabs or system processes. This tool uses immersive design and fullscreen overlays to help you stay focused voluntarily.
How are the ambient sounds generated?
The tool uses the browser's Web Audio API to synthesize white noise and filter it dynamically, creating natural-sounding rain and waves without loading heavy audio files.
Can I use this tool offline?
Yes. Because the audio is synthesized locally and the session tracking runs in the browser, the tool works completely offline.
What happens if I close the tab before the timer ends?
Closing the tab will end your active session, and that session's minutes will not be added to your daily progress card.
